Extraordinary People Use Twitter

      Twitter is here to stay

 and more extraordinary people

 will continue to use Twitter as one of their

 Social Media platforms to be found on the internet.  Hi, Karol Kyno here- Just want to make that bold statement. Social Media continues to rise in popularity as the World embraces meeting people from around the globe differently, uniquely than days gone by. 

Gary Vaynerchuk wrote a book called “Crush It”.  

 It rose in popularity and

became best selling in  New York Times in a short period of time.

Many folks are beginning to use Twitter. They test the waters so to speak. They want to know Why they keep hearing ABC, NBC, and CBS  using Twitter in their closing tag lines like You can follow us on our Twitter page @your name.   Yes, they keep adding to the mystery Why, should one  Twitter?

 Well, I started using Twitter in February 2009, and have found lots of extraordinary, multifaceted, folks on Twitter to my surprise.  Gives you a feeling that you have found your own tribe, your own residence, a place to meet and greet like minded  folks, especially if you are extraordinary yourself. I kinda of think, most of us are. Smiles.

If you are adventurous a little you can have the  opportunity to meet folks in person. It was my pleasure to have met Gary Vaynerchuk in person while he was in Houston for Wine Conference 2009, at the after event inside Celsius Wine Chateau.

Who is Gary Vaynerchuk or known on Twitter as @garyvee, who has over 847,000 folks following him?

He is an example for many, how to use social media sites and he tells all in his book, Crush It!  I just picked up my copy of Crush It and had to go to 2 major book stores to find it because one was sold out!  Gary is a young, yet seasoned, hard working,  entrepreneur, one that pioneered, to the top using Twitter, Facebook and has an audience of over 80,000 a day watching him online.  He promotes Wine Library TV, his video blog about wine, which he launched in February 2006. He has been featured all over television with folks like Dr.Oz.

Need I continue, just google his name, Garyvee is everywhere! I will feature him again in a blog post in the coming days, I really like what he has done and relate to his pioneer spirit, but I want to tell you about one more extraordinary, multifaceted person I have met on Twitter. Oh and the night I met Gary Vaynerchuk, my friend PaulvHarris was cheering me on thru Twitter, after he saw my Twitpic I sent out with pictures of the event.

 Paul V Harris and I met a few months back and he is a Treasure in the Internet, too.  He has had something out of the ordinary happen to him and yet despite something that  could have made him cave in he has become an inspiration to many folks. He has developed a determination thru 10 plus years to help folks overcome fear and now has a following of over 20,000 folks in Twitter in a few short months.
